Thanks to all who joined us at the first ever Birmingham Fungi Festival, and to the experts, artists and staff who led the day's walks, talks and crafts! It was brilliant to engage people with the wonderful wealth of fungi to be found in the heart of Birmingham - urban nature at its very best!

Fantastic to find these stunning Scarlet Elf Cups at Hill Hook nature reserve in Sutton Coldfield! It is said that wood elves would drink the morning dew from within this fabulous fungi! Now's the time to spot them on fallen sticks amongst the leaves, especially in damp places.
