I watched it last night and it was absolutely jarring. My father was in the senior executive service in the USDA in the 70-80’s in DC. He told me he was designated in the event of a nuclear war to go to the Greenbrier (I could be mistaken it was over 40 years ago). Nuclear war felt more real.
