I prefer to be in the mountains, but usually I’m behind a computer. Senior Data Curator @Logos. I’m interested in post-classical Greek and the linguistic tools of the digital humanities.
I’m really enjoying teaching Greek again. It is just a small high school program. I am also really enjoying the English to Greek exercises. It’s far from a communicative method, but it’s my first time producing Greek. I have only ever read before.

I’m out of good responses to this authoritarian bullshit.

Third room being floored. We are almost done with carpeted areas. Next up is the living room.

The weekend project is turning out pretty good. 1 bedroom has been re-floored, and no contractors were required.

“…Don’t look too closely at the law. Do, and you’ll find the rationalized interpretations, the legal causistry, the precedents of convenience. You’ll find the serenity, which is just another word for death.”

More messing around with the Author and Works section of LSJ. I aggregated the dates in LSJ into Historical Periods, and made charts showing the number of authors and number of works both organized by Historical Period.

I took the Author and Works section of LSJ, and made it into data. I don't know that it is that useful, but it was fun and simple. I generated a chart showing the number of Authors organized by Time Period, and one showing the number of Works organized by Time Period. LSJ is the Logos version.

It may not look like it, but this is nothing but love from my 7 year old son.
Text reads “Jimmy is a boogr brain” with letters cut from a magazine.

The PNW can get the fall color change. It may just be inside the evergreens.

I don’t think it’s feasible to go for a pedal every time I make it through a Python problem, but it sure does help.

It’s nice to have a weekend getaway that is actually just a local trail system. Bellingham is doing well in the 15 minute infrastructure dev.
