This whole Trump, Musk blow-up is just a ruse, to save Tesla. Don't be fooled by these two goofballs.
I don't want, noor should anybody want, to see Tesla fail. Electric cars are way too important for our future.
So just sit back and watch the display of idiocy, knowing you can't fix stupid.

I might not agree, but I support Schumer's decision on the CR.

That's right. That there is a Maga flag in the gutter. Trust me when I say, when it's not in the gutter, it's everything I described a Maga flag to be.

Is this truly the America we want?

How much did Musk pay to buy America? 200, 250 million. He bought it for a song. A steal, really. Much better deal than Twitter, for sure. Now he's poking his head under the hood, sort of speak. Seeing exactly what he got in the deal.

Now, I know, we still have a trade imbalance with Japan. What we don't have, is the runaway trade imbalance beast, that was rushing at us, when George H. Bush, puked on the Japanese Premier's lap. Was that just before, or just after the Premier told us, we need to get our economic house in order?

Why isn't China's currency Floating on the currency exchange? Why is China's currency fixed to the dollar? OK ok I know, these day's, it not fixed to the dollar. Rather, it's managed against a pool of currencies. Who, manages ..what. Pegged is pegged. It seems, the whole thing is fixed.

Tariffs, on China is again silly talk. We shouldn't be talking tariffs, we should be screaming " Floating currency". Did we forget, late 80's early 90's, Japan was just kicking our ass with trade imbalance. Then the value of the yen went thru the roof. Toyota's and Nissan's made in America now.

All this talk of tariffs. The notion that we are going to put tariffs on our two biggest trading partners is just plain silly. It's as hairbrained, stupid idea, as there ever could be. Only shows the competence of their knowledge in economics. Child like.

Jimmy Carter was a president who truly put America first. Not at the expense of other people or other countries, rather at the expense of himself.

Most people don't remember, before Jimmy Carter, inflation was raging. Not for a year or two, but for more than a dacade. Not at six percent, rather, more into the 20% range. Jimmy saved America from catastrophic economic collapse. For this, we called him the worst president in a hundred years.

Playing pickleball. It's a two for one deal, social and exercise.
