Remember Moaning Myrtle, the ghost who haunted Hogwarts in the Harry Potter novels? We'd be better off with her as Attorney General as Pam Bondi. Maybe Trump was impressed with the Bond girls who co-starred with the various men who played James Bond and wanted a Bond(i) girl in his Cabinet.

Donald Trump referred to himself as the "fertilization president" at a meeting at a women's history event. I would call him the "fertilize" as in animal dung president.

Can you remember the first time you watched TV? We did not have a TV set until 1956 or 1957. We had some friends who owned a TV set in the early 1950s. They let us watch TV with them one night a week. We bought our first TV when I was 13 or 14 years old.

There are no Harry Trumans in this administration. The wheel just goes around and around and never stops at anyone's desk. After each screw up the president always says, in effect, "I'm just the president. I know nothing about that."

I started working part-time for money when I was 13 years old. I did not quit working until I was 76 years old. Social Security makes up over 50% of my income, and the government is systematically dismantling it. I expect to get an email any day saying my Social Security payment will be delayed.

This sign is from WWII. It warned people to watch their speech, because a Nazi spy might overhear them. Having a war planning mission over a message app might result in American fighter jets being shot down. Why didn't they have that meeting in a SCIF?

Is he the leader the Resistance needs? Bernie Sanders is a magnetic leader, but he is too old to run again. Governor Walz is a 24-year veteran, a former coach and teacher, and a popular governor. He is a national figure after his run in 2024. He has a great sense of humor and knows the issues.

Trump has started having his (In)Justice Department file lawsuits against members of Congress and private citizens. Soon he will file lawsuits against several of the broadcast networks so he can shut them down. The only thing that will stop this is massive peaceful demonstrations. RESIST!

I think Trump will order an invasion of Canada this summer for two reasons: (1) To prove that he is the biggest baddest dictator on the planet (2) To divert attention from the horrible economy and his plunging popularity, which will probably be below 20% this summer.

My HEB store has just drastically raised the prices on all its fresh berries, most of which come from Mexico. Is it time for us to all hold hands and scream?
