@jeffpearlman.bsky.social speaking of the "little things"... in world cup qualifying. Without USA/Canada/Mexico Concacaf was really amazing. Haiti have qualified for the world cup. There games in America in the world cup could be home games. Also Curaçao qualification is an amazing story.

Has anyone noticed your favourite podcast no longer does Ad reads and instead has obnoxious dynamic inserted Radio style adverts every 10 minutes - Thats ACAST. They are single handedly Fing up every nice calm podcast with loud shouty adverts.

There are 2 stories regarding the opinions of Elon Musk on the front page of their BBC news website. Why do we keep giving this man's tweets so much weight? Remember the Halloween Simpsons episode where advertising statues come to life and the way they defeat them is by looking away? Lets do that.
I realise I should work this out myself but was lazy. What I SHOULD have done is search "Speed Distance Time Calculator". Thoughts...
A. This is taking away from existing sites.
B. Kids are actually going to use AI answers in homework.
C. Nobody will make content. Internet will die.
D. AI is theft

This Tesla story put me in mind of the "definitely not made by VW" (wink) joke advert from the late 2000. Brands were using viral marketing production companies to do really edgy adverts that they could have plausible deniability from. This was the extreme but there were brands attacking brands etc

How is a public statue from a town centre that is in no way graphic (i.e not nipples or private parts).
