Just finished the audiobook of The Staircase in the Woods by @chuckwendig.bsky.social and I must say the 1-2 punch of The Book of Accidents and this has been a perfect way to start the Fall. Spooky, character-driven weirdness at its best.

My next goal is to finish this script for Endangered. I'm not sure what I'll do with it yet, but I have to get it out before I move on to the next thing. Who wouldn't love a comedy about a bunch of anthropomorphic animals that try (often poorly) to rescue animals during natural & man-made disasters.

ROTTERS by @danielkraus.com Finished book no. 41 for the year and this was a perfect read to close out October and welcome November. I loved this book and it’s a hard book to love. Any book that uses the phrase “coffin liquor” would be. I should reread The Autumnal now for a perfect double feature
