Incredible stenography on your parts, but did anyone think to ask if making a list of targets has any actual legal authority in this situation? Bc that’s the main issue at hand, and you don’t even bother addressing it in this piece really. If anything you frame it as if you assume list = legal

What would it even matter if they were “on a list”? Like what legal authority does making a list have in this scenario? As of an hour ago, they were “designated terrorists” but no process was followed for that designation either. What is the point of this reporting other than obfuscation?

8/ A public service reminder:

This entire exercise is an absurd, imaginary world for legal experts.

That's because the truth is:

It's not an armed conflict.
The laws of war thus don't apply.

The more restrictive rules of human rights apply.
It's extrajudicial killing under that law.

I know you're being a little flippant, but this is one of your best insights to date, IMO. We're living the in an era built around this system of incentives

The ease of monetization for being a pos is causing the breakdown of society

The top of every news site should say "President admits to ordering murder, vows to order more"

He covered it, this is Donald’s personality and the voters LOVE it.

Idk why you’d compare this to the biggest investigative reporting breakthrough since watergate. Bigger than watergate actually. Tell him @jaketapper.bsky.social !

Hopefully he understands what he’s describing is an illusion, not any real change in exclusivity or price due to growing inequality. If anything, what happened is demand for previously niche experiences grew bc more people found out about them through social media (and could afford them)

There might be something to the first one and it’s sudden occurrence in 2021.

Total immersion in social media as “reality” may have led to a new feeling of social exclusion. This is complementary to your view and does put a helpful label on the phenomenon

Why do you start by conceding a bad faith point? They removed the improvement and efficiency team! It already existed!

Government was already working pretty damned efficiently, especially at the federal level! You're making their arguments for them, and the arguments are wrong!!

As someone who generally enjoys and agrees with many of your takes, your last two weeks has been a continuous attack on a fake person who says the ONLY place ANYONE would want to live is...

Either show the receipts, or admit this is all bc you find YIMBYs annoying and move the hell on man

But who is claiming that it would be a majority of America, other than the imaginary person Will keeps smacking down?

Sorry reality hurts your feelings but the lowest 20% of wage earners had the fastest real wage growth in a generation. People felt pain that wasn’t there because losers like you kept lying to them

Seriously fuck off with this shit @slotkin.senate.gov. The economy was objectively the best it had been in decades in 2024 and Trump immediately came in and made it worse. Your failure as a party to sell reality was not Joe Biden’s fault
