Retired ECCC meteorologist, dedicated father, but not in that order. Skeptical of cynics, cynical about skeptics, exhausted by conspiracy theorists.
I use the small scale analogy even sceptics observe: leaving a puppy in a locked up car on a hot sunny day. Incident energy absorbed in car is re-emitted at a wavelength that has a harder time escaping car. Car heats up. Puppy is in danger. CO2 makes re-emitted energy harder to escape. QED.

And that’s Canada’s average - over 40 million people and vast area. Alberta’s per capita emissions are 4x that, putting them at, or near, the highest in the world. That’s argument enough to recognize the importance of diversification…

The Tignish snowgun (frictional convergence is refreshingly forecastable. :)

Roads could be horrid Friday morning.

The heart attack snow sometimes shows up in April/May.

This is Bluesky. We know. Now, if you’re on Facebook… ;)

She now has to deal with the separatist sentiment she’s being fostering for a few years. She’s still framing this issue as a fight between AB and Ottawa. Hopefully she’s fracturing her base. Shw won some points back by saying you can shoot people in your own house…🤔

For day 7, I agree with your advice. At least this isn’t a day 10 (or longer) event when, often, a few ‘social media-ologists‘ race to be the first to claim the sky is falling. ;) Having completed extensive hurricane verification for ECCC , I don’t consider all models equal (poor man’s ensemble).

Excellent. Every modelling center is responsible for their own verification statistics yet they willingly offer output to the end of integration. They really shouldn’t provide output beyond 7 days to the general public. The issues this causes wx offices is many, mainly discrediting. 30 years an MT.

Supply might be an issue but demand might be a bigger one. With America ramping up their production will we be competitive?

A. But too many people are already acting like C Is inevitable.

My best friend of 50+ years had a 4+ year battle. Last January he invoked MAID. When he made the decision he was at peace with it. I spoke with him long distance within 90 minutes of the end and he was very glad he had the option. Eventually we all understood.

Empty is the head that wears the crown? This one anyway.

Homo sapiens possessed the traits that allowed us to ‘succeed’: greed, violence, selfishness. We haven’t needed those for 10,000+ years - the blink of an eye on the evolutionary scale.

30.5mm in the Kingdom of Middle Sackville. We’ll take it.

I’m assuming the daily low trend is due to carbon-obstructed radiative cooling overnight. Is this same signal seen in the other seasons…yet?

Maybe you’re confused with Letterman’s band leader.

Have the vote. But with a caveat - not anonymous. If the vote is to leave, see ya. If the vote is to remain, those who voted otherwise MUST leave. Problem solved. Put up or shut up.

Make Canadian Doppler radar available.

The AM software is still supported?? Good.

Maybe I showed this to you before. Conventional radar (25-ish years ago Strathmore) showing a trof dispersing insects. Sky was otwz clear and was a puzzle to me. Paul Joe provided the insight later. Data only here - I had created separate custom topo background for media users.
