it was twenty years with a debilitating hemicrania continua (rare headache) when I found a neurosurgeon who would operate on my spine. The process is down to one more cervical ablation. Headache is gone!!

I got here 3 days before Christmas, and I really did not realize it. That is my fave holiday, and it was very hard having a dinner with the family, they were so very good to me. This was a while back. I did not know how close I had approached dying. I don't remember any of it. bizarre

So this is what it's like to live long-term care at my still young age in Assisted Living. What a journey it has been so far. Big, fat, hairy deal. I don't know if I'll ever adjust. Its day after day after day....
