A while back, I came up with the idea for a series of 8 drawings I wanted to do and excitedly went straight into the first one… then stopped.
Tonight, I thought I’d continue, and bashed out the second. I just finished, and noticed the dates.
Two down, six to go, expect the complete set by 2037.

This was meant to be a Christmas present, but I was ill and only got round to doing it last week. As they’ve now got it in the mail, I can post it here - My dad and his wife as gnomes (which she loves).

Forgot to post this a while back. It was my nephew’s birthday and he’s a big fan of Fallout, so I turned him into the Sole Survivor. I knocked it out in an evening, but wish I’d had more time, it doesn’t feel right and I don’t quite know why. - 100724

Tested out my new fountain pen, but still not brave enough to commit to using watercolours, it seems a lot of faff, so coloured this with markers. - 100524

In my ever widening search to explore different styles, I’ve bought a fancy fountain pen, a Platinum Carbon Desk Pen, along with some supposedly waterproof Carbon Ink. The plan is to outline and then watercolour, we’ll see how that goes. - 230424

I’m calling this done. I started it nearly two weeks ago but haven’t spent two weeks on it because at times it felt daunting, so I didn’t do anything. It would just sit there, mocking me. I enjoyed doing it, but I’m glad I’ve finished it. - 060224

Followed a tutorial to quick sketch buildings, then coloured them, first using alcohol markers, and then some shitty kid's watercolours I had kicking about. Quite enjoyed painting, so bought some semi-decent watercolours for future use. - 250124

Off the back of my Joker mask, I realised my white wasn’t doing the business, causing me a lot of issues. I googled for a decent white and Jesus Christ, the difference is night and day.
Left is regular pencil with pressure, right is the new pencil with just three gentle layers. - 220124
