“Don’t blame tariffs”? These de minimis shipments will no longer be exempt from tariffs, due to an executive order implemented in parallel with massive increases in tariffs. I think it’s okay to blame tariffs. And in fact more specifically I think you can blame Trump’s stupid tariffs.

Stefanik will be confirmed as UN Ambassador - timing is up to admin and Senate Republicans, I believe.

Special election will be within 90 days of Stefanik resigning to become Ambassador to the UN. I think the admin is slow-rolling that date because she is part of their razor thin majority, and reliably “Ultra MAGA”. (Which means effectively we have no representation at this time)
