I moved to Venice in September 2023. In the EU salmonella is regulated as an additive--it’s simply not to be in food. The U.S. regulatory attitude seems to be, Hey it’s going to be in our food--so here’s what you should do not to get poisoned. Like treat your chicken as it is toxic waste.
