Probably could say the same about Britain and the last 10-15 years.

Is it normal for a PM to attend at this kind of meeting?
December 2, 2025 at 5:51 PM
More likely someone else is getting bombed today, but there’s always hope.

If the man had contented himself with giving some reasonably serviceable oral he wouldn’t have this problem.

Doesn’t explain why he was inside in the first place. Probably muttered “just the tip” before proceeding, the selfish bastard.

Any of which are better than Toronto Beige.

I could be wrong about that here too, though.

I’m in Ontario. Here Engineers receive actual stamps that they use to indicate that they’ve approved drawings or reports or whatnot. The stamp has become a synecdoche for the profession. I believe, though could be mistaken, that architects here are also qualified PEng, and therefore get stamps.
December 2, 2025 at 2:57 PM
I thought architects also held engineers’ stamps.

I don’t know their rationale but I can guess. If the person in question ( or any other Jew) can see the offending posts, that’s pretty clearly bullying (and antisemitism). If not, then I guess it’s straight-up antisemitism, no bullying. But that’s my guess.

It will be with a full electric.
December 1, 2025 at 9:52 PM
Anyway, doesn’t matter much to me. We own a PHEV because when we went to replace our 16 year old Matrix, the weight for a new Prius Prime was 6 months instead of 2 years which was the best we could do for a full electric (might have been able to get a Tesla faster, but nope). When we replace the PP

Maybe I’m missing something but that graph does not show that a PHEV pollutes as much as a full size pick-up.
December 1, 2025 at 9:44 PM
Pretty much this. I can’t imagine why anyone wouldn’t want to save the money by running in the battery whenever they can.
December 1, 2025 at 6:39 PM
I plug mine in every night. It’s so much cheaper to run on the battery. Sadly through the winter I’ll be running the engine a lot because the battery doesn’t handle the defrost well, but I’ll still plug it in.

You’re not wrong. My smart-add remark has a little bit of thought behind it. Corporations have boards that are supppsed to be the reps of the shareholders, who hire the C-Suite including the CEO. Decisions would still be made by humans. The bigger problem is, what do we do with all the unemployed
November 30, 2025 at 6:42 PM
You don’t offer the C-Suite replacement machine to the CEO, you offer it to the board of directors who should be making the high-level decisions anyway.
November 30, 2025 at 6:38 PM
So when do the engineers start using the shoddy elf tit machine and the coding assistant machine to write the c-suite replacement machine?
