Many browser/browser apps like Chrome, Safari, etc have their own cookies and tracking built in. You can circumvent some of this by switching to others like Firefox or Opera but they are all collecting your data for profit in some capacity. Pick your poison but it doesn't have to be fatal.

AND ANOTHER THING. This can also apply to some other apps that offer services such as music and video streaming, blogging, social media, etc. You can use a browser for a lot of these programs. BUT these come with their own risks.
