Nerd & bibliophile with a surprising capacity for mashed potato
This has been obvious from the beginning, and for the longest time serious commentators were saying it would never happen. Don't know how many still are but I bet it's more than 0.

We had an e-mail just yesterday encouraging us to try Copilot Chat. The examples it gave were summarising long documents (how will I know if it's picked up everything?), creating meeting agendas (meh) and writing "clearer" e-mails and Teams posts (which are important skills to develop by yourself!)

You can tell the story of the Flight to Egypt is made up because they didn't even have planes back then

Not £500, but bought the Enterprise when it was released as we're finally in a place where we do have a bit more disposable income, and partly justified as a joint present for me & my wife

"Razor-sharp teeth still dripping with Toto's blood, the leader of the Lollipop Guild advanced on Dorothy, its bretheren chittering excitedly at the prospect of fresh meat. "Get back!" she cried, eyes searching desperately for a weapon, anything to slow the advance of the ravenous ArachnoMunchkins."

I kept a whole thread of these over on Twitter from my eldest. 3-5 is such a great age for being unintentionally hilarious.

I've been reading too many political posts because my first thought was that this was an attempt to make a portmanteau of war and Starmer 🤦‍♂️

Starmer simply should not need Ofcom to tell him he shouldn’t post on Twitter. He should, for once, stop abrogating responsibility and do something himself.

Finally. When I'm paying £80 for a game the last thing I want to do is actually play it myself.

Here’s a fun top five: things that are consensus among historians but are essentially unknown by the public. Richard I, a bad king of England. Roman Empire, fell in 1453. Paul, more important than Jesus. Witch burning, a modern phenomenon not a medieval one. Britain last invaded in 1688. Yours?
As someone who wrote a dissertation on that damnable Frenchman; one can only hope.
