I'm looking for one or a few popularly rather than technically oriented books on Monte Carlo to help them learn and hopefully enchant them a bit. Any suggestions will be gratefully received. Nice to encounter old bird friends over here in a peaceful environment.

I was getting hundreds per day as well, but one day they magically disappeared, hopefully never to return. So, so lacking in talent most of them.

Frank Harrell’s book is a treasure. I have adopted a number of his practices, especially with projects that various people will be looking at and commenting on. They save hassle and embarrassment later on. My students (generally final year undergrads and Master’s level) struggle with it however.
