I wonder how many humans dislike large chunky veggies cooked into stir fry, soups, or stews...like me. I love raw veggies of any size, but I just tolerate most cooked veggies. And hate them when they are cooked and too big. Weird I know.

Gah I am dumb. Didn't even occur to me that I could come over and enjoy your company while having coffee and maybe a donut. Well, shoot.

Kind of expect the housing bubble to burst any day now...I'm not the kind of sucker that willingly pays $100,000 more for a house that had a lower price just last year with nothing done to it. Yes, if you dig you can find that sort of info about a house despite all the realtor tricks to hide it.

The folks at WW Cheese told me a couple weeks ago you arrived safely. I assumed you'd contact me but here it is the 24th and not a peep. You could have given me a heads up.

You should be in Seattle by now...

Read Wilbur Smith's River Gods last year. 700 pages of brilliance. Incredible story, characters, actions all told from the perspective of a slave in the pharaoh's orbit. Just had to buy the next in the series, The 7th Scroll, excited to start it soon (have to first finish the book I'm reading).

Son had a car problem yesterday...alternator burned out and a serpentine belt needed replacement so purchased and delivered and while road testing, we stopped at El Sombrero for lunch. Excellent food, tasty but not very spicy salsa choices with the meal. Had to ask for the back room salsa.

Wow. All the incessant coverage over the election of a new pope. WHO CARES! Out of the 10's of thousands of news events around the world, those millions of hours and words devoted to a unimportant conman are wasted.

Very disappointed in Bluesky with their 300 char limit on posts and comments. Annoying to say the least. They've so far ignored my request for explanation of the restriction. With the millions that have joined, they can likely afford the increased storage capacity now. 1500 characters don't take muc

Egg prices: Kinda expected when millions of egg layers had to be destroyed because of the bird flu, but many people either don't eat eggs or just minimal amounts as it is. The 2 eggs I eat per week, even at $6/dz only amounts to $52/year. Just stop buying eggs and use substitutes.

Was looking for some light fare on Netflix, comedies mostly. TV shows instead of movies so I could watch in chunks over time.
And I found Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency. It is so convoluted, so strange, with such good acting I'm hooked. Watch another episode every evening.
Weirdly wonderful

Enjoying my stay here in San Felipe, Baja with the blue skies, warm sunshine, ocean yards away, and balmy breeze. Except for the last few days when we had wind storms from the Santa Ana. Some mornings, we get this low cloud bank off in the distance.

I'm curious if anyone knows if Bluesky is supposed to show zero comments to my posts? If I click on the comment icon, it goes to a minimal page with a posting box where I can make a comment, not what I expect, which would be a thread of the comments I and others have made to my original post. Setng?

I've found that of the 78 strangers that are following me now, nearly all of them are scammers. Most of them claim to be female, ranging from quiet suggestive types, to those obviously trying to find a job.

I just read that Bluesky lets you continue typing beyond 300 characters and auto separates them into following posts. I'm going to try that now. So far I'm up to 136 characters so there's a way to go. I should have C&P something instead. But I'm already working on it so might as well keep going,

Disappointed that there isn't any RV'ing group that I can find. I can find individual posts by RV'ers but no group. Still new to Bluesky so maybe I'm just not searching correctly?

Anyway, I've been a full time RV'er for 21 years now. Write a travel and RV repair blog. I've turned into a snow bird.

New to Bluesky but already see issues. 300 characters as a response to someone asking a question? Or for a new post? I had to post 2 responses to post all the info that was germane for RV'ers. I suppose this is because they don't have the drive banks to hold more but 300 characters is nonsense.
