Spent a good chunk of the weekend cutting and splitting wood . Had help from my youngest brother, my father, my youngest son, and my wife. It felt good, though there's plenty more to do.

I was home sick the last couple of days, and to help with that I spent plenty of time outside in the fresh air, with snacks, drinks, and kitties! Feeling quite a bit better today.

I did an all day/all night canning spree last Thursday/Friday. I will not do that again. Took most of the weekend to try to recover. Ended up with 58 quarts of stewed tomatoes, though!

Saturday Morning I had the pleasure of installing snow guards on our metal roof to try to prevent huge sheets of snow and ice sliding off the roof and crushing things in the winter. So much fun. I took care of the priority areas for now, and will install more at a later date.
