On the PASC/LC front, at the second annual NIH RECOVER LC conference the first two presentations had mtDys in their slides. No one mentioned it last year. New NIH head Jay Bhattacharya sent a video promising all the right concern for chronic disease - yeah, right!

It’s on PubMed NIH site. Title: Dietary Supplements for Primary Mitochondrial Disorders. Eighty pages long with eighty pages of references. Not an easy read. Let me know what you think

/I’ll try to find the link and send it. Eighty pages plus eighty pages of footnotes. A dense and scary read. Today is the third anniversary of my testing positive for Covid. Nice coincidence. /2

I’m using supplements to help improve mitochondrial function. AlphaLipoic Acid (ALA), NAD+, CoQ10, and turmeric primarily. I came by a research paper on NIH’s PubMed site on nutritional supplements for MD that had extensive details on how MD would exacerbate LC symptoms. /1

What is the name of the test? I’ve had PASC/LC symptoms since late 2022 that have been getting progressively worse. My research indicates that mitochondrial dysfunction is driving most of the symptoms. I didn’t know that there was a specific test.
