The storm has knocked out our power in an all electric house, SSEN saying Monday before they can get it back on. Thankfully we’ve got the wee stove keeping us warm.
Please stay safe if you’re out folks, it’s a wild one where we are

Stormy weather wasn’t stopping the team getting out chapping on doors in Letham this afternoon Cost of living is the worry, and more and more people are realising that independence is the antidote. Next year’s election is all about demanding Scotland’s right to choose that future

A grand wee team knocking doors and delivering “ Your Right to Choose” leaflets in Tulloch today. They’re telling me, with a tiny exception,it’s only @theSNP that folk are trusting to stand up for them and Scotland. We don’t take that for granted we just keep working harder

It’s been four years since I was elected by the good people of Perthshire South and Kinross-shire, and I have striven every day to repay the faith they put in me by being their local champion with a national voice.

It was good getting out on the doors in Kinross with @PeteWishart and the @SNPKinross activists. There is a real appetite to discuss how @theSNP can and are improving the lives of the people of Scotland.

This is an inspirational brilliant initiative instigated by my colleague @StevieCarr66 in the @theSNP led council in PKC. Check it out and see if your group could qualify for a repurposed mini bus, well done Stevie, SNP in the service of the people of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 👏

I have received a large volume of emails from constituents regarding the Stage One Debate on Assisted Dying, due to be heard in Holyrood tomorrow. Here is my statement on how I will be voting and why.

Excellent weather to be out delivering the message for @KatyLoudonSNP and @theSNP that it’s only the SNP who are working for the people of Scotland, Labour have abandoned any pretence as Sarwar slavishly obeys Starmer

Delighted and honoured to hear I have been formally nominated as the SNP candidate for the 2026 Holyrood elections.A huge thanks to members who have put their faith in me again and a commitment to work to represent our constituency and further the cause of Scottish Independence

Great first day talking to crofters on Lewis and Harris about the upcoming crofting bill, and how to keep the crofting communities vibrant with opportunities for the next generation. It was good to have @alasdairallan help the understanding of some of the challenges

Good morning from a stunning moonlit Perthshire

Not dressed for visiting a farm but was great to catch up with Niall Jeffrey on Beilgrange Farm. A great example of a mixed farm with suckler cows and arable rotation, where soil health is a driving factor in helping profitability environment and business resilience

A budget made in Scotland, for Scotland and delivered by a government focused on the needs of the people of Scotland. It’s only @theSNP can do that, Labour and Tory ties to WM means they take orders from them, not from the Scottish people 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

When you meet boyhood heroes. King Kenny was in the Scottish Parliament tonight and I had the great pleasure of having a wee blether about football and good restaurants. He’s far more fun than his telly persona 😂, and a proper legendary gentleman @kennethdalglish

Cracking morning sunrise for yesterday’s morning run, it’s snowing this morning 🥶. Beautiful Perthshire

Great to be out on the doors with the fabulous @AlmondEarn_SNP team and @CllrJohnRebbeck. The chat is about how badly Labour have let folk down, but we still have more to do. The First Ministers plan for the NHS is a very good start which folk are welcoming

I convened a meeting today at the Loaninghead flyover to discuss the safety concerns of bus users having to cross the A9 heading South at Auchterarder. The proposal of establishing a new stop on the off ramp is one possible solution, and I’ll keep folk updated on progress

Sitting in the Holyrood chamber, listening to the brilliant speech by my colleague Kenneth Gibson, standing up robustly for the WASPI women, some who are in the gallery tonight. It’s the @theSNP who are standing up for those wronged women, Labour should hang their heads in shame
