Ukraine has absorbed and stood as a bulwark against Russian aggression. If it had surrendered quickly as Trump thought they should do, no doubt Putin would have made a next move, making all out WWIII much more likely.

I don't know why my brain works like this but this morning I am consumed with wondering why we have a Prime Minister and a Deputy Prime Minister, as grammatically it should be Second Minister.
