The business improvement board discussed the concern from bigger businesses regarding the new layout for the farmers market to come.

These businesses worry they'll be less accessible to costumers

Layout will be changed back to the old one if this shows to be an issue by May.

One of the long-term goals the business improvement district board is working on, is to have a professional crew of Christmas decorators for Mainstreet by 2027.

This is so that task won't go to town workers and volunteers.

The budget for 2025 was designed to not make or lose any profit. This standard has been met, with a final spending number in the 10,000s.

John Waters has been appointed as Bayfield's new town manager. He will start in this position later this year mid-August.

Waters has previously worked as a city manager for Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico. He describes this place to be of similar size to Bayfield.

In his request John Simpson asked for his attorney to be paid for by the city council. The claim filed against Simpson by city attorney, Mark Morgan, for ethics violations. Is estimated to take 4 to 5 years to get resolved.
