For me it’s comic books. At 53 I’ve started collecting again. Sorting and organizing them soothes, and every time I buy one off my want list I just feel good.

In these times we need to enjoy our diversions.

So why isn’t the Times reporting this with a sense of the true gravity of the moment? A President vowing to use the power of his office to persecute his political opponents is tyranny. It’s completely anti-American, and it is your DUTY to say so. Loudly. Over and over. Democracy requires it.

Maybe that’s why Putin ordered Trump to nominate him.

I paid into Social Security for 30 years and started teaching at 51 years old. I was informed my Social Security would be diminished, but I wanted to teach more than anything, so I made a choice. But I won’t teach nearly long enough to earn a full retirement. This will make a huge difference!

Now compare these numbers to the number of people with good health. Dig deep and figure the percentage of people who don’t really use it a lot to those whose lives depend on it.
