This is Toba Inlet. A fjord that goes miles into the Canadian mountains in BC. We anchored here under this waterfall and were the only people for at least 20 miles.

This pair of humpback whales stayed about a mile from us as we traveled up Jervis Inlet for about a half hour.

In all total we saw Humpback whales 5 times along this trip. This whale was just north of Calm Channel and was splashing like this for at least 30 minutes.

This what low tide looks like in the nook we anchored in. In Von Donop Inlet on the NW side of Cortes Island BC. At high tide all those rocks were covered. Thats why reading the chart is important.
Rocky shore covered in golden sea weed and oysters the green trees are reflected in the still water.
