No, Tell us about your life!
The People That Time Forgot might have been an early inspiration for Grayskull from Masters of the Universe.

Sea Bat (1930)

The movie is a half star until they start facing off against this monster stingray in the final act. how did the film crew manage that heavy camera equipment on a boat using practical FX dragging this rubber-suit aquatic monster around in the ocean?

Three movies that get zero love, but I truly dig are Belko Experiment, Daybreakers and Pandorum

Folks, a 4.1 rating on IMDb?!?!
Kryptic at least tries to do something different and that blurs reality enough to make us question who we are.
Not a bad flick. #filmsky

I am rewatching Bats (1999) right now, and it just makes me want to rewatch Nightwing (1979) filmed twenty years earlier.
Lou Diamond Phillips wins this battle.

2024 had a lot of decent horror flicks. Here are few you may have missed.
The Seeding
Lowlifes
Resurrected
Frogman
Little Bites
All hit my top 20!
So if you want feral kids, basement vampires, and killer giant frogs, these will keep you busy!

I am really looking forward to seeing this new slasher from the dog’s perspective. The horror genre is the only genre where filmmakers are allowed to play and the audience and producers give them rope to do so.
To keep you busy until Good Boy is released, Rover Red Charlie by Garth Ennis!

We had a nice finish to the month with four interesting slow-burn horror films. Nice shout out to the documentary “Meet the Hitlers” which proves a name does not define you.

Reason number 301 why the Telluride Film Festival is amazing. You may witness a Werner Herzog having a picnic in the park.

Look closely at the “rat” used in the 1931 film Dracula. Director Todd Browning used possums instead of rats because he felt they looked more menacing.

Every year, I try to watch what I can in the horror genre. This honest ranking can be argued, but it is mine. You will see some similarities to other lists, but I hope you also find some gems. I will ...
