From what I've read of him, he was not a 'good man'. He was a a very good man. There is probably not one person working for the Trump administration that likely fits that description.

The underlying assumption of her (and MAGA's) view of citizenship is that a good American is a quiet and compliant sheep who always obediently does what they are told and totally ignores their rights under the U.S. Constitution.

I am 77. I don't believe I have ever witnessed such depraved and mentally sick people as those now running the American government.

The true Trump Derangement Syndrome is MAGA's normalization of mental and moral derangement. Never in American history has there been so many psychopaths gathered in one place outside a mental institution as there is now in the White House.

Trump definitely stole the show at Davos, but not for the reasons Miller wants you to believe. The world is increasingly aghast at a President who is borderline insane and has no one around him to rein him in.

This can be linked to a general decline in rational thinking that has led to MAGA and an administration that is demonizing higher education while it routinely spreads delusions, disinformation and lies as the new norm among its lobotomized supporters.

The rising concern for Europe may be that Trump is not the only dangerous 'madman' in the White House or the Republican Party. Political madness may be the new norm for the Republican Party for a long while.

The silver lining is that is that the world is unlikely to see a major war with China or Russia as long as Trump is giving them want they essentially want free of effort or cost.

Theoretically, it would be relatively easy to temporarily occupy Canada with US troops. The problem is what happens next. One result would be the beginning of the breakup of the US.

At best, Trump doesn't have a clue what true patriotism is. At worst, he sees true patriotism as opposed to everything he wants while in the White House and therefore must be crushed.
