I switched to HP last year because Blue Cross was so bad, but at least Blue Cross was willing to go back and fix problems when I called them. HP told me "You can appeal, but you are going to lose." Well, I am going to do it, anyway, and tell everyone about it every step of the way.

I have spent hours over the last month trying to fight this, to no avail (yet). Trying to gather all the docs and fill out the appeals forms is like a second job. I went almost 2 years without so much as a checkup & this is what happens when I finally try to use my insurance.

I can't imagine a Democrat getting away with any of this, but I am not sure any other Republican could do it, either. At least I hope not. Hopefully, Trump is so unique that his level of corruption & criminality will be unrepeatable. But it seems reckless to allow the chance of setting a precedent.

If my online classes are any indication, this is the dystopian future that awaits us. I had hoped Michael Cohen's ill-fated foray into using ChatGPT for legal advice would have been the end of it, but people are just insatiable in their laziness and stupidity.
