Yeah I mean I’m a pragmatic voter. I’ll voter for the best candidate given the choices. But I saw how enthusiastic people were for Mamdani here in NYC. Like even winning over young men, who everyone moans about turning to far right podcast types. We absolutely can do better!

The sooner establishment democrats realize the democratic voters are telling them explicitly what they want in terms of policy and opposition to MAGA fascism and start growing a spine the better. Mamdani won New York not because he hoodwinked the people but because he reflects their actual needs.

Since marvel is also Disney so I’m sure he’d have the same answer. I love him as actor (in both of those things and others) and I love him even more as a person hearing him say this.

It’s only a “deal” in the same way giving money and a helicopter to a terrorist in exchange for hostages is a deal. Maybe the shutdown will end but Republican terrorists are learning it was a great way to get everything they wanted.
