How do people sit back and watch Trump go on his ego trip destroying the White House, Kennedy Center, Peace Institute? The behavior is beyond narcissism to pathological. The Arc de Trump will be the proof that Americans don’t count, only Trump.

Trump and his cronies do not understand simple math. $12 billion to farmers does not balance the hundreds of billions of current and future overseas sales lost amid the tariff wars. Add deporting tens of thousands of farm workers and making it nearly impossible to bring them in legally. A dumb mess.

Trump takes credit for rolling back tariffs on items he imposed tariffs on in the first place. Congrats. Beef prices are up because immigrants are bringing their cattle in with them. We can bring prices down by importing more beef. Sure makes American farmers scratch their heads.

Let’s review things. The BBB cuts millions from Medicaid, SNAP and commodities to food banks to pay for tax breaks for the rich. Trump finds money for Argentina and paying ICE during the shut down but can’t find funds for air traffic controllers or food. $300M for ballroom but nothing for people!
Here’s the argument. We need to have tariffs because these other countries have taken advantage of us. So we put tariffs on those countries we have a trade surplus with and countries we have no trade with. So much for making sense. Think the court can figure it out?

While Trump is busy despoiling our White House (not his house) and flying all over to glad hand world leaders, families and farmers, parents and grandparents are worried about getting health care, food on the table, and maintaining their livelihood. Despite his speeches he doesn’t care about us.

Attention Republican national debt hawks: the debt increased by $1 TRILLION in the last TWO months. Can’t blame that on Biden. Oh, we cut IRS staff by half and tax collections are woefully behind. Not to worry since Congress is on vacation. Oh they are in charge of the budget!

While Trump promises to rid us of all the brown criminal elements he is pardoning and commuting the sentences of scores of white convicted criminals. Law and order only applies to those who don’t look like him or won’t kiss his ring or are his perceived enemies.

The research is clear. Increased community policing is the best way to reduce crime in cities. The millions a day spent on the Trump war on cities would be better spent supporting local and state law enforcement. BBBill cut $9B from local police support and added $30B to ICE goon expansion. Nonsense

Hogsbreath’s lecture to the military brass calls for an army trained to fight the wars of the last century. The Ukraine-Russia conflict has proved that brains, not brawn, is the key element in battlefield success. A man with limited experience and clearly little knowledge will handicap our troops.

Somewhere in my vague memory there exists a Republican refrain: The federal government should stay out of the states’ business. States Rights. Don’t tread on us! Doesn’t seem to fit sending Federal troops because Trump thinks they are needed to make him seem strong. Hypocrisy.

The White Woke Right blows a gasket when anything negative is said about Kirk or the President. But it no problem when Trump disparages the former president or members of Congress in hateful terms. Double standard is no issue when you believe you believe you are sent from God to save America.

The “White Woke Right” has decided that hypocrisy will go unnoticed. After years of railing against the Woke Left’s efforts to limit hate and violent speech, they bought the model and just redefined hate speech to mean anything the President doesn’t like. The righteous Pharisees at work.

I recently attended my wife’s class reunion in West Virginia. What struck me was the contrast between the acceptance of Trumpism and the demonstrated care for and concern about old friends, family and their local community. Democrats need to see that level of caring still exists on the right.

Trump has notoriety. What he desperately seeks is respect and recognition as a person of substance. Since he is incapable of empathy and appreciation of others he cannot earn anything close. The result is his endless day and night screams for attention. There will never be enough to satisfy him.
