I'm pretty sure A Change of Heart was the first album I bought with my own money as a teenager, though goodness knows where I managed to find it. I relied heavily on a friend of my father's copying his cassettes for me prior to this. Probably bought about 1990.

I'm working my way through the Tom Cox back catalogue at the moment (at least, I've almost finished Ring the Hill and am lining the others up ready to start). It's really got me back into finding time to read, which I struggled with since I stopped commuting.

I had a couple of those in the GWR livery. Would have loved a blue one!

I had that catalogue as a kid - I was born in 1975, so my father must have got it when he started our railway at the time, but it remained my main source of inspiration for about ten years.
