I was up with the sun this morning and headed out to Orr Farms sunflower field. With all the fire smoke, the sunrise itself was not dramatic, but there was an ethereal, diffused directional light, allowing just enough contrast that fine details were evident, but the dynamic range wasn’t overwhelming

One of my faves from yesterday’s drive. I’m particularly fond of the black and white rendition. There’s something about that abstract sense of order of tractor marks in a field; artificial lines in an artificial landscape…kind meta. #photodrive #rural #Ontariofarming #agriculture
