It's not hard to build it yourself (except for a laptop 😁) but it's rarely worth it and if you're not technically up to it you will need help choosing the compatible components and would also benefit from the manufacturer warranty.

Unless you have very specific needs, it rarely makes sense to build your own PC nowadays. Sure, if you geek out on that sort of thing, go for it but for most people just decide what you need in terms of power and form factor (laptop, desktop, tower, tiny) and buy it.
