Take home is roughly 1800. But lets be realistic people will have phone and internet, they need to buy clothes and transport costs, they will have insurances to pay. So you want to save for a house deposit... Average 1 bed 159k. Most you will be lent on that salary 120k. Assume Mr hermit saves....

I tend not to agree on the £26800. I don't live in really rich town. Average rent just under a 1000, council tax on a band B 150pm. Water 40, G&E 100. This assumes, no car, no internet or TV licence. Add in food for one person 200pm if you are lucky. So 1490 for a basic lifestyle. On that salary....

Thank you I signed up. I am hoping for change with the new government. I tried so many times to report a problem to the environment agency, they were dreadful. Our key regulators and agencies are broken. Hopefully this can be rectified.

Did the same a few days ago, twitter has just become a complete cesspit. So many bots it's hard to tell who is real. Then all the people emboldened by Elon to spew vile and disgusting content.

That's pretty phenomenal work by Kenya. I know we can do it in the UK now we have the political will to do so.

I totally understand why certain media outlets run anti EV stories. But you can't deny the evidence of your eyes and not so much ears. EVs are on the up 2yrs ago my road of 40 houses had 0 EVs, there is now 7. Keep up the good fight!

I used to enjoy my days at GTi International at Crowthorne(showing my age) . Have had lot of VWs never a G40 though. Now just electric and a resto in my garage.. Very long term project. Inherited in '97
