I bought this tapestry yesterday. It’s from the tradition when the king of Egypt lived in elaborate tents. They would fill it with cloth tapestries. They are still made in one particular alley in Cairo called the tent makers alley. #egypt #travel #cairo #Aswan. #art #tapestry
