I don't think this particular email is damning. Most likely Trump was asking Ghislaine to stop poaching girls from Mara-lago, which we already knew.

Maybe the federal government could invest billions in machine learning research for biology and medicine to support the data centers. Maybe something like, oh I don't know, maybe a national science foundation?

Non-MAGA Americans are learning about authoritarian motivations and behavior while simultaneously experiencing authoritarian behavior from the leader of the country in real-time. Continuing to win hearts and minds away from MAGA gets us out of this mess. Trump approval at 37% is heartening.

Excellent piece of journalism. Hope to see more reporters begin narrating the facts of the ground rather than trying to whitewash and justify Republican actions.

The reason the White Nationalist (MAGA) movement will not be able to stay in power permanently is this low approval rating. Authoritarians take power with support from 70% of the population. Trump has gone too far too fast and freaked out independents. Now wait for the economy to fail in 2026.

Countries have realized they merely need to make promises that Trump can promote to his base. No need to actually make any investment or follow through with promises.

Trump just had an MRI. He will be too ill to do much of anything in 2029 and he knows it. He is gonna pass the baton to Vance (then call him three times a day to vent).

Trump just had an MRI. The decision no longer to talk about Trump staying in power beyond 2028 is because he will not be physically able.

I had forgotten about this. A relief that the U.S. already is out of Iraq or Trump would be stealing their oil. He already is trying to take minerals from Ukraine. I imagine he will go after Ukraine's natural gas reserves soon.

Then how does the EPA investigation play out?
1) EPA concludes chemtrails are a bunch of nonsense and the MAGA base screams "Coverup!"

The two trump appointees got it wrong. This isn't over yet. One of the other judges already called for an en banc hearing.

Is it possible the Roberts court got a message to Trump that his tariffs will not stand and he is planning to rescind tariffs involved in that case before oral arguments begin? He can then use alternate provisions to enact new tariffs that will stand up in court better.
