If you’re in a red state and your representative is unresponsive try calling a representative from a blue state. If your representative finds out that his/her constituents are calling Democrats for help maybe your rep will cut the crap and help you. It’s just a thought.

Are you talking about total assets or liquid cash? It takes time to convert assets. Also, you have to understand that many people don’t leave because they’re uncertain of how severe the threat actually is, and they’re hoping that it won’t be as bad as they fear.
