There’s a squirrel loose somewhere in the library. I’ve got to confess, I’ve kinda wished for a “SQUIRREL!” moment ala Christmas Vacation all day.

38th Street, you crazy bastard. I’ve missed you!

Hates that feeling when you vaguely remember buying a cucumber on the Friday night grocery run, but don’t see it in the fridge on Tuesday…

I’m officially unemployed! No worries I start a new job at Murray State University and am excited about this! I just need to get an apartment packed up (I’m not excited about that.)

Best packing assistant ever. Clothing can’t escape from this box!

Mercury’s in fucking Gatorade and you can’t convince me otherwise.

One week until I start at Murray State — watch this space as I lose my everlovin’ mind attempting this move.

Today I bought Cinnamon Altoids at Meijer. I haven’t had cinnamon Altoids in so long! Sometimes I freakin love being made happy so cheaply.

Rasmussen is in the front of the pack and we’re all happy in this house. Go Christian! #indy500

I interviewed for a position that I was interested in this morning. Post interview I find myself very interested in it and am keeping my fingers crossed even though it means some significant life changes.

Wishing for a sudden downpour so I could have a legitimate reason to postpone laundry night…

When making a sauce that features vinegar as a major component, don’t ever bend close to the pot and sniff deeply— this is how you will seize up your lungs and just about end up on the kitchen floor. Follow me for more cooking tips!

This, by the by, is an effing disaster if it holds up. The number of public libraries that will go under if IMLS is shuttered is mind-boggling. www.whitehouse.gov/presidential...

I ordered a part for my microwave and for such a small part it arrived in a fairly large box. Corinna disagrees and finds it to be a perfect sized box.

So when this microwave breaks again, I need someone to help me go Office Space on it. I will never buy another product from this company. I paid $240 dollars for the damn thing in 2022 and door latch broke off. The heating is fine - but if you can’t open it, it’s useless!

My SSRI means that I don’t randomly have my brain telling me I should just kill myself. My SSRI isn’t a threat, it’s a blessing. Fuck that stupid, stupid manchild.
This was one of RFK Jr.’s first orders after being sworn in.

Just an astonishing denial of science and will cause so much pain to the 45 million Americans facing mental health challenges.

Librarians aren't going to save us. Librarians aren't superheroes.

They're just people trying to keep largely underfunded and overwhelmed public services going.

Praise is nice; realistic expectations are better; material support is best.

I cooked frozen broccoli in the air fryer tonight. My world is shook in the best way. The florets were a bit crispy and the stems were tender but firm. And it only took 10 minutes.

Corinna cat is back on her blanket, on her sofa, in her apartment and getting her chin scratched and the relief and joy is palpable
