IMLS also only makes up 0.005% of the federal budget. Anyone claiming they're saving the government money or making things more efficient by cutting IMLS is lying through their teeth.

Season two truly is a masterpiece.

It’s great for background tv but the episode plots aren’t memorable. I do enjoy Sebastian as a character. I miss Agatha Raisin, but agree the last season was it’s weakest. Have you tried Brokenwood Mysteries?

I grew up being very close to my next door neighbors—my parents cooked extra all the time, especially when they made vegetarian dishes (the neighbors were). For over 20 years my father would make dozens of plates of Christmas cookies for the neighborhood. It’s community building, not weird.
