I said I wanted to know about his stance on tariffs because he sure sounded like he thought there was a better way to go back in Nov. than this. Also, wanted to know how he felt about the FBI purge, the CDC info going missing. If they call me back, I have questions. Lots.

No surprise here, I listened to Trump speak and believed him. But...many of his congressional supporters/spokespeople went out time and time again to media and said, "no, that's not what he said, that's not what he meant." And got away with it. Media not meeting challenge, but nice blame game tho.

I think the point is they are wanting the govt. to re-route funds to religious christian orgs/groups that support him and cut out the others. Trump said he'd like to give funds to Samaritan's Purse while talking about cutting FEMA. So...he's rewarding his supporters and not worrying about the rest.
