Mine was held for 17 fucking days. I have a market coming up that I have to prep for but 2 patterns require this yarn I ordered! I can’t order from Hobbii or other international sellers now because US customs is so unreliable

I’m seeing women drool over books that have women being “bought” and “owned” by men in order to do sxual activities like they are property or slaves and it makes my stomach turn.

I don't think it's an issue originating from vampire fiction - I love YA vampire stories, personally, and am excited about this new trend in publishing - but more a problem with how fascist ideology is infecting YA fantasy in general. See also: bsky.app/profile/book...
So many YA romances right now - and not just romantasy - hinge on the female love interest infiltrating the oppressor class with the goal of taking them down then immediately falling in love with a privileged boy. The resolution is her having to choose what life she wants (she always picks him).
