There are bumblebees now every time I look in the black sage flowers in my front yard. This is why I garden this way at home, and it's why I do this as my job, too: to support insects, and by extension birds and bats and the whole wildlife food chain.

Some ideas have a symbiotic relationship with humans. Many cultural ideas help people, as social animals, coordinate what they are doing with a shared understanding of the world and somewhat shared goals.

Ideas use people as both a medium to grow in and a vector for spreading-- like viruses.
