Yep. Yesterday I went to look at the CIA World Fact Book to get some in depth information. It used to be a rich source covering so many topics — demographics, health, politics, history, culture, so much more — on every country. Now it’s a joke. At best.

Yep, important to have things that you love and that you’re good at, that keep you going, that provide fuel for your psyche in a good way. Lord knows we can burn that fuel in an instant by thinking about all the rest of what’s going on. And I love kidlit too.

Everybody needs to call their electeds!!!! None of us should assume the votes are guaranteed. We need to help stiffen their spines. Sometimes the ones who tell us we don’t need to worry about their votes are the very ones we do need to worry about! Leave msgs today, or call in the morning, or both!

I think it’s important to call them. Often. Even if, or maybe especially if, they tell you you don’t need to call them.

YES! And we all have to call our two senators and one congressperson every day to stand up to LEON to protect US security & our personal data. If GOP, tell them you do want a more efficient government but not headed by LEON. If Dems, tell them you will stand w/them but need their strong leadership.
