Our country's abandonment of innocent Palestinians is beyond shameful. I can't even begin to express my outrage at a country that blithely drops bombs on children and pretends it's acceptable because they were targeting a "terrorist"... as if what they are doing isn't terrorism.

But why worship THAT god, rather than the one who gave humans the capability of creating the vaccine? I'd be mad as hell at THAT god. Their guilt will probably keep them safe from that question.

Belief is so much stronger than knowledge. Their belief allows them to think God took their child. That's a lot easier to live with than the knowledge that their own distrust of a medically proven safe vaccine killed their child. They could have saved her; didn't. Can't live with that knowledge.

Some men are afraid of women, but the law still says we can protest when they beat their wives. And not get deported.

It's a hard row to hoe. Do nothing and your constituents ask what you're in congress for. Say something, anything, and have Republicans misquote, demean and blame you for things you have no ability to control. That said, calmly speaking with the press to describe R's bs every day would be good.

Why is it up to Democrats to fix the Republican failure? Not a rhetorical question. I've watched Republicans block Democrats' agendas all my life. And when Republicans are in power they blame Democrats for basically not stopping their bs. No matter what the Democrats do, they get blamed.
