The GOP: a ship of crooks/criminals, quacks, and fools
The plan is crystal clear: Republicans will finance their billionaire giveaway with brutal cuts to SNAP, Medicaid, and the social safety net.

The richest people in the world are working to steal food out of the mouths of the poorest families in the country. www.politico.com/live-updates...
House GOP leaders placate fiscal hawks to launch their party-line plan
The chair of the House Freedom Caucus said members of his group would back the budget blueprint on the floor if a mandate for more spending cuts gets folded in on Thursday during committee debate.

JD Vance should be stripped of his Yale law degree, since clearly he is violating his oath to the constitution by urging Trump to defy federal judges' rulings that serve as a check and balance on his power grab: www.yahoo.com/news/opinion...
Opinion | JD Vance is turning his back on his law degree — and his oath of office
Yale-educated JD Vance appeared to challenge judicial review with a tweet arguing judges shouldn't be allowed to control Donald Trump's "legitimate" power.

How did we get where we are today?
1) Supreme Court's ruling in 2010 for unlimited, undisclosed campaign contributions by private citizens
2) Rising income inequality
3) Enablers of Trump, including Republican leaders Mitch McConnell and Mike Johnson
4) Selfishness vs sacrifice for the common good

From NYT: "Presidents Trump and Musk have merged their cult followings, conspiratorial mindsets, disinformation artistry, disdain for the Constitution... With pitiless and mindless velocity, they are running roughshod over the government."

This is a disgrace. Despicable. Horrifying. Heartbreaking. Welcome to Trump's America, where only rich white men are served.

Let's talk about the Department of Education, next on Trump's (and his machiavellian right-wing fundamentalist handlers') chopping block. Can anyone in mainstream media call this what it is: an attack on all institutions that don't serve anyone but rich white men?

From the NYT, Constitutional Crisis: "Trump has called the bluff of our constitutional system: It works best when each branch does its job with alacrity. Trump’s opponents are filing lawsuits, but courts are slow and deliberative." Yep, this is how democracy dies. FIGHT BACK!

The Canadian MP called Trump what he is: a criminal. Now, which US leaders are doing this? Stand up to him, people, before it's too late!
"Gangster class from Mar a lago"🎯
Canadian MP Charlie Angus: Our beloved Canada is under threat.

The threat comes from the president of the US—a convicted felon and known predator. But the threat is also being driven by the hate algorithms of oligarchs like Elon Musk….

Per Time, nearly two-thirds of the executive actions Trump has issued mirror proposals in Project 2025, the 900-page policy blueprint created by the Heritage Foundation. This is no surprise. But I'm alarmed that so few journalists and Democrats are confronting him. Speak out against fascism!!
