Cancelling Hilton membership today, and now I want to fly to wherever that independent Hilton is (Minneapolis I think) who the Hilton brand cancelled their franchise and stay there to support them. I am going to look into this. Plenty of SWA miles.

My dogs love those! Ours unfortunately died because one was able to corner it and pick it up and fling it. It was fun while it lasted.

I’ve been saying the same thing that I think there is a chance those redrawn districts may vote blue in 2026 because they see and feel the damage this administration and their GOP reps have done. It would be so glorious if this happens.

Wow. How does anyone even pretend to follow that??? I wonder too if any one of them have even verified that the “facts” it’s stating are true (as in looked them all up to confirm them). Doubtful. Reason number 2001 that they are a cult.

It was the rural citizens and Williamson County (wealthiest county in TN I believe) that voted her in. The wealthy ones want power as we all know. The rural don’t pay attention to facts; only want their told. It’s why we have Blackburn and Haggerty as Senators. 🙄

They are being picked up for being brown. ICE isn’t checking to see if they are legal citizens or have otherwise legal status until after the fact.

I keep wondering about this too, and why her family seems to have accepted it was a suicide. She was in a bitter divorce with her husband. He had taken her kids away from her, and they were her world, so I settled on that being the reason. But, I still question it.

This is what Trump wants as this will be viewed as civil unrest, at which time he’ll declare martial law. All elections will be cancelled. Military will be posted in every major city and around the country. While I don’t disagree people should do this, I don’t think it’s wise to take this step.

I keep saying this is what you voted for, but I have no idea how these particular people living in a flooded house voted. They may have voted for the qualified, intelligent, and empathetic candidate.

I didn’t know about this one, but there is one in PA who does similar work…Justice Rescue. They take on the very hard and often dangerous cases where they have to get an animal out of a bad situation (neglect, abuse, etc). Heroic work.

There are good schools in the South. No one is arguing that. However, if you get out of the city and into the rural areas of the South, everything stated in this post is pretty accurate. I’ve spent most of my life in the South, so I know all too well the mentality of many in the rural areas.

So his idea of banning DEI is just to fire everyone who is a female or a person of color, regardless if they were hired because they were 100% the best and most qualified person for the job? This is part of his plan to make America great again? 🙄

People here keeping voting her into office, which I will never understand. She beat Gloria Johnson, one of the TN 3 and who would have been an amazing Senator, about 70% to 30%. It’s absurd that anyone continues to vote for her. She is a sycophant and completely worthless.
