Only Murders in the Building is fun. Also I enjoyed Emily in Paris.

Just finished episode 6 of 8 of Mussolini: Son of a Century. Not funny but really good, and the production is quite theatrical. Feels like some group of people stole the script. First time using Mubi too - I like it

Most of congress is complicit and won’t take the steps we have to remove. Not a fun place to be.

While I like the idea, where is the source for this?

Agree - really enjoyed that book. What an amazing, principled life.

I just finished it now. It's an enduring stain on the nation, and it's sickening that so many running down a dark path with their eyes wide open, spouting similar lies and misinformation. It's a great podcast and I learned so much.

I really liked the show. The HR scenes were among my favorite.

Agree! A great interview and "coalition of the unwilling" is spot on. I'll borrow that term as it applies to so many things these days.

Actually reminds me of a tour I took once in Amsterdam's red light district, the bleak, utilitarian rooms. It was a fun but surreal midnight tour on Christmas Eve.

Love the show! It hasn’t updated on Apple Podcast this week yet for me. Is there a tech issue?

They lie.

To me, he published his autobiography with the video. It’s vile but that is his story and a solid representation of what he is doing to the nation.

It’s his autobiography.

Yep the provider we had left the market and the rates we could get were 3x the cost.
September 19, 2025 at 7:49 PM
Awesome. Next, what can you do for homeowners insurance costs, which keep spiking.
September 19, 2025 at 6:48 PM
💯

Been enjoying them! Thank you so much.

For me it’s homeowners insurance - insane rate spikes in California. It will keep getting exponentially worse with client change denier policies compounding everything.
August 13, 2025 at 12:11 AM
Yep. I reread 1984 in January and it’s remarkable how true to our time it is too.

She can still put her other hand on the dashboard and brace herself! Memories of mom 😆

Monday's Bradcast talks about huge Medicare cuts that will happen, triggered by the bill, unless the GOP takes action before 10/1. A frightening conversation with David Dayen about yet another GOP-made disaster. podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/k...
