I think that style the canes is not a good matchup for the flyers in a seven game series. Not quite enough skill yet. I do not think they would get more than a win or two. But what the hell. I’ll just be pumped to watch playoff hockey!

The Canes style of play seems to give the Flyers fits and they would probably eat us alive in a seven round series. I do think any other team in the Metro would have their hands full with the younger Flyers squad.

Great read as always Charlie. Glad you hit on the part of the Flyers grinding down the Panthers in the 3rd. Youth vs elders was certainly on display in that period.

He was getting out muscled behind the net quite a bit. His tenacity and stick work are exemplary though. Be interesting to see how he puts it together this year if left in the NHL.

With Tippett moving into his prime mid/later 20s. My feeling is the years of development are over. He is slotted and paid appropriately. And expectations need to be tempered. 4 years with lack of center depth has also not been helpful.
