I went through the _exact_ same hunt. Obsidian, browser, nothing else.
Went down many rabbit holes.
In the end: MacBook Air with everything else stripped out, and a separate login so it doesn’t overlap with other machines via iCloud and bloat up… was my solution.
Happy with it!

Still not sure what (if any) obligation ISPs have to report data breaches on these data sets… or even if they are compelled _not_ to, given that they are legally gagged about them.

Thankfully folks dillegently working on protocols and solutions for people to jump into (such as AT) over many years.
