Finally, the Federal Government supports Australian teachers. I’ll show the kids this tomorrow morning and it will instantly become uncool.

This shows the Republicans are the party of choice for the poor. Democrats need to introduce laws that help poor people - perhaps at the expense of their rich donors.

Sounds about right. America employing the same strong arm tactics as other authoritarian regimes like China and Russia.

Number one song becomes the new national anthem. Sorry. I don’t make the rules.

Maybe Labor did a good job of pushing climate coverage in opposition? Liberals obviously don’t consider it an issue, so we can’t rely on them. Can’t rely on the media to do it independently either.

That’s funny. The Australian voters also wonder how we’d use these massive white elephants.

The AI is hard baked into the website. As Australia has anti-hatespeech laws I could see a future where the whole site is banned.

It might squeak into A History of Songs that mention History in Five Hundred Songs.

Plenty along the main road in Rokeby. He appears there mostly next to Liberal faces.

It was too broad at the federal election. Let’s hope they can really drill down into a couple of core issues that will spark interest among the community.

If the greens can outline strong environmental policies - salmon and renewables they’ll poll well. It’ll tough work to reclaim their political relevance though. Libs are stubborn and won’t negotiate- Greens not far behind them.

I wouldn’t be giving him anything, I’d be taking it away. The submarine money, the free army base. If he doesn’t want to be friendly then we can make that happen.

They add nothing to our society. Make them jump through our hoops.
June 24, 2025 at 10:56 AM
I’ll consider that a win. If you’re resorting to name calling then your arguement doesn’t hold up. Social media is an ill to our society. It must be curtailed.

If a company continually acts against the wishes of the country they operate in, they should expect the government to enact laws to prevent that.

These laws may go too far, or they may force YouTube to clean up its act and become a responsible contributor to our society.
June 24, 2025 at 9:57 AM
I’m not disagreeing. But YouTube is not innocent. It is radicalising our youngsters for profit.

They are out here whinging about the laws, when they could implement changes within their platform that would leave the laws unnecessary. But have they done that?
June 24, 2025 at 9:55 AM
Parents didn’t take responsibility- but neither did YouTube. It’s been proven they knew the algorithm was radicalising youth but did nothing as it was making them money. That is not the type of behaviour a reasonable government should allow.
June 24, 2025 at 8:44 AM
If only YouTube had’ve done something earlier to stop children accessing extremist material.

England has a bowling attack that can only take runs on green decks, and a batting lineup that can only make runs on flat ones.
